Recommended Posts

I've been enjoying collecting the lower lias recently and will hopefully find some more soon as i'll be collecting for these specifically over this winter.

I thought I would share the best ones in my collection so far. Who can name all the ammonites? :Wink1:

I know basically nothing of UK ammonites, but just from watching yours and others videos on YT... I am sure there is a 'Dact' in there somewhere :)

No these are all lower lias ammonites. Pleuro and almal are from the middle lias.

Aha finally I got it, I’m not good at remembering which strata ammonites are found in just remembering the shapes (more of a shark teeth guy :P)
