rickeclectic
Found a grapefruit sized chunk of limestone standing alone in a construction area recently. It had some echinoids embedded in it. Threw it in the car with other stuff I had found. When I got home I saw it had several embedded echies with spines still on or near them. Not sure how to prep it. Peeled of one good piece, but left the main part as is. May just leave it like it is or try to make the echies a little more clear. Any advice appreciated.
JohnJ
The perforated tubercles, general shape, and spines suggest a Tetragramma species. The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
Jared C
Absolutely exquisite find. If I were in your shoes I’d send it to @Ptychodus04 for prep “Not only is the universe stranger than we think, it is stranger than we can think” -Werner Heisenberg
