Does anyone know what this is found it in the white river in South Dakota by badlands national park but outside the park.  Very stumped on what it is. It has the humps on its surface like a bison grazing animals tooth.

Ya but an agate would not have those half cylinder like lumps in pairs in the same spots. I also believe that the white cap thing is the enamel or root.

Keep in mind that all the things I have found and posted about have been washed around in a river for how ever long and have wore down some. But I just want to know what it is.

IF this is any kind of tooth, ( and I am not at all confident in that conjecture) I think it would be too worn to make any kind of confident ID.

I see a quartz based rock like Tony mentioned.  Inclusions of dissimilar minerals are not an uncommon occurrence.  I don't see enamel or cementum.
