Found this in back yard in San Pedro, CA.

It is petrified wood, yes? Possibly someone’s souvenir that got lost in the yard?

I guess PW means petrified wood. But it is better not to use acronyms on an international forum that has a lot of non-English speakers.

I have the feeling that this is not petrified, but rather recent. Please study this for more information.

Definitely appears to be petrified wood to my eye and ear.
