New Members cornflower Posted July 23 New Members Share Posted July 23 I picked this up on the ground at a beach and I am wondering is this a fossil or a rock because the top seems to have bivalve similarities like lines in certain spaces, the top area has a different texture compared to the bottom and lower top regions, and has rings around it. Fossildude19
Looks like a metamorphic rock, to me. Carl
I know the Purisima fairly well and this doesn't look like the fossils I know from there.
