Help please

Found this at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I thought it was the bottom of a molar but it’s wavy on both sides. It’s got 5 bumps on each side in a pattern. Found in the water. Thanks for any help

Sort of looks like a steinkern of a single ammonite chamber.

I agree, the item looks like it might be a very worn chamber of an ammonite.

Is Myrtle Beach known to have Peedee exposures? I am assuming it would be Peedee… I had heard of shark teeth washing up there occasionally but Cenozoic ones, or so I thought. Totally agree with ammonite chamber, but I had no clue Late Cretaceous stuff was coming out there.
