Hi Fossil collectors. I am not a fossil collector at least not yet. I did come across this what I believe to be megladon tooth or replica of one. Hoping someone in here is able to tell me if it could be real. 
 

it’s really white which makes me think it isn’t based on the research I’ve done. However the texture feels spot on. If it is a replica alot of effort was put in

 

I appreciate any responses.

The color is wrong and the "root" looks to be painted in. There should be an enamel shine to it but this one looks like a cheap resin cast of an original tooth. If you have a chance to purchase this item do not do so (unless you are in need of a doorstop). ;)
