I got 3 teeth found on shark tooth island in Wilmington , North Carolina,USA

im thinking last one might be a tiny Meg fragment from a middle section of a tooth, none of them have any serrations or cusps

i know that these are tiny fragments so I understand if they cannot be identified

Almost all the teeth are from the New Hanover Member of the Eocene Castle Hayne Formation there. It's a dredge spoil island though so anything is possible. Since these are fragmentary I'd look on the elasmo.com Castle Hayne page for a possible ID. Since these are fragmentary you'll probably only get close when comparing to complete teeth.

To me they do,but I am only a collector.... not a specialist like many of these people are. Hold on a bit, you may be correct!

I agree, first two look like mako. C. hastalis maybe? I’m not the best at shark teeth ID at species level…
