Hello,

Would appreciate your help identifying these specimens and their age. All were found in the same patch of land in the Hrajel/Chabrouh area in Kesrouane District, Lebanon.

The smallest is about 8mm in width, while the largest comes in at 4-5cm width.

Thanks!

Best,

Z!

These all look to be sections of orthoconic cephalopods.

I would agree with orthoconic cephalopods. Though I’m only familiar with ones from the Ordovician period, and these fossils aren’t that old. So take that with a grain of salt.

Here’s a geological map.

They look more like gastropods, to me.

I agree with high-spired gastropods.
