Hello everyone,

This is my first post on this forum as I am a brand-new fossil collector as of today! I am on vacation in Colorado Springs, Colorado and found a local rock shop selling some fossils (there is a dinosaur museum/laboratory less than a mile away). The owner of the shop was not sure what these were but guessed they may be from an alligator, shark, or mosasaurus.

As I am just starting collecting, I'd appreciate any insight on what these may have belonged to. The larger fossil is approximately 5.75cm while the smaller one is approximately 4.5cm. If I can upload better pictures or different angles, I'd be happy to do so!

Thank you all in advance and I'm happy to be here! :)

They remind me of whale teeth.  Seems like the ones found in Florida and South Carolina.

I have only seen whale teeth laminate like this....

Note the horizontal banding... these are visible on your enamel tip
