What do I have here? And how do I prep it?

I've had this boxed away for years.  When I collected it, I thought it was a crinoid.  Now I;m not so sure.  It looks plant-like.  Also would like some guidance on exposing the fossil.

Where in Illinois was this found? County?

Looks more like some sort of branching bryozoan to me.

As far as prepping, this would require a good amount of air abrasion to be fully exposed.

From the Cave-in-Rock mining district, Hardin County, Illinois.  Probably Mississippian.
