I found this cool jaw and I know they are faked a lot. If you can reply soon (next 10 minutes. I know it is a lot to ask. Sorry) as I am in the shop for a limited time. If it is real, what is the precise identitity?

Pretty sure the first had been discussed some time ago. But both pieces are rather to be avoided.

I would agree with JorisVV.

There is no perfect view on the first one, since most important part to check is between jaw and teeth.

Second one has real jaw piece, but connection to the teeth is suspicious.

Yes I remember it was the second. Luckily though, I purchased a Mammuthus Primigenius bone instead.

Yep! Any idea where the placement would be? Me and my Dad (who I have forced into the fossil world) have been getting confused over the placement.

Im not an expert with mammoths, but my first thoughts would be femur or humerus.

Good side pictures in id section most likely gives an result.

My thought was Humerus too. I’ll do as you suggested once I have it back. (Need to work off a bit of debt before I properly have it. )
