Is it a fossil or an unusual rock?

Hello,

We were walking along a beach near Southampton UK and I spotted the stone as it has the colour red in it.

I was hoping someone could identify it for me.

I would be happy if it is not a fossil as I think it makes a great paperweight. Obviously, I would prefer it to be a fossil!

Here you will find photos of my rock:

It's asking for my Google account.

I'm not willing to click on it to see more.

Does that mean it is just an unusual rock?
