Hi and welcome to the forum.

I agree with chert nodule, with a slight resemblance to a snake or turtle head when seen from one side, but clearly not from the others.

Nice lookalike, but no fossil as far as I can tell from the pics.

Agreed, not a fossil, its a rock. But keep looking and learning...
