Hi, recently my late uncle left me his fossil collection and I have been going through it. I found an interesting fossil leg bone that he found in 1962 on the Columbia River in Oregon, at first I did not notice it but it appears that there is carvings on the Fossil bone. Can anybody give me any information on this, or have you seen anything like this before?

Looks like the bone was buried, and etched by modern roots.

The bottom photo does look like root etching. The straighter and dashed lines look more like tooth marks to me though.
