Searched everywhere for this exact thing

I have looked everywhere for this thing and I can find some things that look slightly similar but everything is too far degraded it looks like to be sure.. you can see spikes preserved in the stone medium but that hasn't helped me much

Where in Arizona was this found? Location helps us to figure out the stratigraphy, and age of the area, thereby narrowing down ID possibilities.

 

 

This looks to me like a spiny brachiopod internal mold of some sort.

Did you find it on top or north of the Mogollon Rim? It could be Peniculauris bassi from the Permian Kaibab Limestone.

 

It is a chert cast of a brachiopod. Note nice spines.
