Al Dente Posted August 27 Share Posted August 27 I was on a cruise around Iceland this past week. The volcano erupted Thursday night so the cruise line rented buses and took us to view the volcano Friday evening. We could only get within 12 miles of the eruption. It looked really good through binoculars, but my phone camera didn't do very well with photos. My wife's camera did a better job. Here are some of my photos. The winds were around 40 mph.
