Coco Salut ma Coco nationale, Near Bordeaux is something unprecise to me. It looks to be Medocan so, it might be Bartonian or Lutetian. Could you give us more information please ? That has the look of à piece of Rudist you can find in the Cretaceous of the north side of the estuary of Gironde, so, at the complete opposite of the area you show were you surely can't find Rudists because they disappeared during the Cretaceous extinction. Yes, sure, the area you circled is part of the aAquitanian basin, you can't find Cretaceous fossils there. They are on the north side of those rivers.
