Hi guys I’ve got this crab I found over summer from the Isle of Wight, aptian atherfield fm. Any ideas on species, I’ve attached possible species known from there, it’s from the soft core of a crackers nodule

Down to callianassa are lobsters I believe I’ve researched down to xanthosia and can’t find exact examples of each one but at least to genus level and none seem the same, any ideas?

  • Fossildude19 changed the title to Fossil crab, Atherfield Formation, Atherfield Point

I now believe it is Mithracites vectensis
