Hello!

I went fossil hunting for the first time in years. I'm in Wollongong, NSW, Australia along the sea cliffs. I found a Glossopteris leaf (B) in coal/shale coming out of the sea cliff. At a close by site I split open a shale/coal rock and found this fossil in question (A). It appears to be segmented like a Glossopteris vertebraria, but I'm not entirely sure. . It could also be a Phyllotheca stem? What do you think? It's also spot on 1 inch in diameter.
