New Members bioflyer070 Posted September 4 New Members Share Posted September 4 Hi all, my family offered me a fossil but they have no information about it, except the fact that it's from Madagascar. I know you can't do miracles but the tiniest knowledge about it could be great 👍 Many thanks in advance !

Fossildude19
Vertebra are not really a diagnostic bone. Best that can be said is that it was a piece of a vertebra, from a fairly large creature. Adding to that, without precise locality info, it becomes much more difficult to identify further. New Members bioflyer070 Posted September 4 Author New Members Share Posted September 4 Ok, I contacted the seller, and accordig to him it's from mid jurassic to late cretaceous formations of madagascar, and probably from a sauropod Lapparentosaurus, Rapetosaurus or Archaeodoutosaurus . Do you think it's coherent ?
