Also, Vertebra are not usually distinctive enough to be used in identification to genus or species level. Could be from any number of genus of fish from the area. You could look on the Oceans of Kansas website to see if they look similar, but really not hopeful of you finding out what genus or species these actually are. Fish vertebrae is probably the best you can do.
