Wiltshire chalk scrapes.

Today I visited some scrapings of the top layers of strata in wiltshire.

Each picture of a scrape is followed by the finds from it.

I found pretty much all bivalve fragments and one thing I can't identify.

Oddly for this area, no echinoids?

The first scrape is lower chalk, the rest are upper.

Sorry my photos aren't too great 😕.

You can't see the bivalves that well.
