New Members DanielDvil Posted September 5 New Members Share Posted September 5 Hello, please help me determine the ownership of this bone. The bone was found in Latvia (Olaine region) in the sand dunes of the Baltic Glacial Lake, the dunes in some places reach a height of 4 meters and extend for a couple of kilometers in length with interruptions. According to my suggestions, it was washed out by rains from the Aeolian deposits of sand dunes. To the layman's eye, it looks very fresh, which is why I assume that it is modern. I don't even know if it's possible to determine who it belongs to. I apologize for the quality of the photo, I took it in a hurry. If necessary, I will make additional ones later.
CDiggs
It looks like it might be a distal tibia to me. Not sure if there's enough left to determine exactly what animal it came from, perhaps others will be able to say more though. 1
