Cretaceous Jaw with one partial tooth

Mike from North Queensland

Recommended Posts

I have been prepping this specimen out of a piece of solid limestone after I saw a small section of fossil protruding. Overall length is 12mm so not large. This specimen if my tentative ID is correct is literally as rare as hens teeth. Found in the toolebuc formation which is a marine deposit but 99.9% sure this is not a marine animal. My tentative ID is enantiornithine sp but need conformation for or against preferably with some comparative documentation / images. Thanks all in advance Mike
