New Members Kathy711 Posted September 7 New Members Share Posted September 7 I recently learned that some of my geodes are actually fossils. I've been looking at a lot of pictures and this appears to be a crinoid to me but it is large. The ruler is blurry but it's 12 inches. Any help in understanding the difference between a geode rock and a geodized fossil would be fabulous.
Fossildude19
This does look like a geodized crinoid calyx, to me. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the processes involved in their formation.
