Northern California Beach Fossil?

New to the fossil scene. Wondering if anyone can ID this find from Northern California coast?? 

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

You probably need to let us know a more specific locality then we can look at a geological map to determine probable rock unit that it came from.

Found right outside of Half Moon Bay. Not sure if it's just an odd shaped rock or an actual fossil?

We might need some more views to help those with more vertebrate expertise than me. I usually just stick to the 99.9+% of all fossils, non vertebrates. 
 

What is your favorite SF Bay Area jasper?

More pictures would help.... and a measurement. Is it broken?

Looks something like sea turtle bones I have seen... Only a possibility... many bones can be similar

This is not a bone, it is a rock with mineral veins on both ends and a very suggestive shape.

 

There is no bone texture and the shape is not quite right- particularly on the ends.
