Is this a flintstone?

Found in Costa Rica. It breaks easily into non very sharp  flakes. Appears tp have concoidal fracture but I am not sure.

Jokes aside, it looks more like quartz like agate.

Could be some sort of quartzite.

Take a hardness; does a metal blade scratch it? Does acid or strong vinegar make it fizz? Let us know.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

Thank you. It did not fizz with vinegar and it does get scratch with stainless steel blade. I think I heard the term ''low grade flint'' somewhere I will like to know what is the best term to name this rock: quartzite, chert, low grade flint?
