anonaddict
location: aarhus, denmark found: loose beach rock units: metric the pattern somewhat resembles that of belemnites with their internal structure preserved however the size is much smaller than any belemnites ive found and its very tightly packed, much more so than id expect belemnites to be which is why i believe I might be dealing with something different. potential options ive considered also include a fragment of a crinoid fossil or sea lily stems which would explain tmhiw tightly it is packed but ive never seen either of those preserved in this manner.
Fossildude19
Looks like a cross section through a tabulate coral, maybe something like Favosites. 1 3 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
