Hi all, I’m new here looking for help with this. Does anyone have any idea what fossil this could be? Found it on Brighton Beach when I was 9 years old

Imprint of an echinoid, or sea urchin.

The round parts are spine attachment plates.

Correct. If the picture was shot a quarter turn you would see it more easily.

It's one of several cidarid echinoids you get in the Chalk (Upper Cretaceous) - look up Temnocidaris for one example.

This is one interesting fossil !!  Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing.   I have never seen anything like it.  For those TFF members, who likely correctly believe that they know what this is,  please provide a side by side comparison, so that I can "see" with my own eyes and judge..   Thanks Jack
