M3gal0don_M4n
I recently found this Tyrannosaur tooth but it was just labeled Tyrannosaur tooth. It is 1.2” and found in the two medicine formation. It isn’t urgent, as I have until Christmas, because I still haven’t financially recovered from the Mammoth bone (I’m 13 and don’t make much ) 1 “Deep words go here”- Me, 3/9/
Brevicollis
The two medicine formation has two described Tyrannosaurs, Daspletosaurus and Gorgosaurus, according to my knowledge. A differencation between the two species just on their teeth is nearly impossible, so I would call it Tyrannosaur indet. 1 My account and something about me : My still growing collection : My paleoart : I'm just a young guy who really loves fossils
M3gal0don_M4n
I have found a way, except I am too tired to do it tonight. It is called a DSDI? It requires counting Mesial and Distal serrations and dividing them to get answer. “Deep words go here”- Me, 3/9/

And that was written by Omnomosaurus, not me. Sorry if I'm coming across as rude, just trying to help. FB003
Some more guides. DSDI is discussed in many places in this forum. Especially in these guides below. There are many sources for that knowledge and no single source of it. All are from published works to my knowledge with exception to some Troodon created based on his own collection. Something to keep in mind though is DSDI is not exact. It is an average based on a sample set of data. 1.6 vs 1.8 when talking about averages are essentially the same as there will be a bit of overlap. I agree with @Brevicollis assessment. It's ok, I am not mad we all have to learn one day (I am guilty too) it isn't something serious, just something to keep in mind down the line.
