Found this morning on the beach in Port Townsend, WA, USA, about halfway between Chetzemoka Park and Point Wilson. I'm new to this, not sure if it even is a fossil. Looks 'toothy' to me, but the honeycombing makes me think... coral? Any help appreciated.  Thanks!image.thumb.jpeg.e44cbfece94470b3af6ebcbcfe364c4f.jpeg

Looks like part of a barnacle to me. Probably modern.

I agree with barnacle fragment.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
