Dnicewave
Found on beach in Myrtle, looks like an almond seed or something similar. It is symmetrical and has a center line on both side.
Rockwood
Nope. That's an animal. This is a cast of the inside of a bivalve mollusk. Otherwise known as a steinkern. 1
Plantguy
I can see steinkern and was wondering about it maybe being another of the dreaded tilly bones as well. I think I see a boney pattern in the end view...maybe its something else or a an artifact created by zooming in... Let me see if I have a similar photo from my crazy collection... Regards, Chris Edited 16 hours ago by Plantguy spelling correction...working on a photo as well 1 1
Fin Lover
I was also thinking it could be a tilly bone. 1 Fin Lover
Rockwood
It is an odd texture for a steinkern.
