Petrified canine tooth,what animal?

Sorry, I don't think it's a tooth.  There is no enamel or other evidence of a tooth.

This is a suggestively shaped rock.

 

The lighter mineral looks like it might be harder that the darker mineral, and has eroded this way.

No enamel present, and no tooth morphology.


Mother Nature is quite the trickster.
