New Members allmightydoggo Posted 2 hours ago New Members Share Posted 2 hours ago How would I prepare to go to a creek? Like mostly gear and clothing. Is there anything specific I need to wear if I’m also gonna go in the water?
Masonk
In the warmer months, I'm usually wearing water shoes (Merrell makes good hiking/water shoes), waterproof hiking shorts and a t-shirt with a water shirt underneath. During the colder months a wetsuit. I usually have the same setup above, however I wear waterproof pants and neoprene/rubber boots. I plan on investing in a pair of waders for this winter. I wear neoprene gloves with latex gloves underneath during warm and colder months. Helps protect against cuts from glass shard and keeps hands warm/dry in cooler months. I have a waterproof case I keep my phone in, which stays in my backpack. In my backpack I carry water, snacks/food, some first aid supplies, a poncho, sunscreen, insect repellent, hand sanitizer and a flashlight. I usually carry a small container or Ziploc bag to hold my finds (usually shark teeth and other smaller items).
