traveltip1
I found this ammonite on a beach in Dorset UK. It's from the Middle Jurassic Inferior Oolite Formation. The neat thing is the calcite crystals that grew in the empty chambers. Edited 12 hours ago by traveltip1 Soecifuc

Jeffrey P
Is it a geode or a fossil? I would say, lovely combination. Thanks for sharing.

FranzBernhard
That is a really nice and educative specimen. You can see lots of characteristics of ammonites (shell, steinkern, chambers). The sipho must be also somewhere ? Franz Bernhard
