Dantheman135
Does anyone know of a good source for the identification of vertebrate material from the Stone City Formation of Texas? I’ve seen several old posts from forum member @dinodigger about publishing a paper on vertebrates from the formation, but I was unable to find the paper if it was ever published. The closest I’ve found is a paper about marine vertebrates from the same age from Alabama. Thank you in advance for any help!
Thomas.Dodson
For otoliths I have always used three reference sources, here, here, and here. The second paper is also a good shark and bony fish tooth reference for the Claiborne as a whole, including Stone City. This is probably the one you already found but is the best you'll get to my knowledge. 2
