Strange beach stone

Hello, I found this odd looking pebble on a beach in Mundesley, located in Norfolk in the East of the UK.

 

Does anyone know what the markings are? It is decorative if nothing else :dinothumb:

I agree bivalves, with crinoid fragments. I suspect it's a Lower Jurassic erratic from the north (maybe Yorkshire) but can't be sure.
