Very small and Odd Pennsylvanian Crushing Tooth (Missouri)

Location: Missouri

Age: Pennsylvanian

Stratigraphy: Iola formation (Raytown Limestone Member)

Found this odd tooth today, sadly the tip is slightly broken making it probably difficult to id. My best guess would be a weird form of crusher tooth but that id seems a bit off. What do you guys think? (about 6mm)

Is more of the tip in the rock?  Nice find :)

These teeth are very hard to ID, partially due to how messy the taxonomy currently is.

Reminds me of a Cladodus tooth, or possibly some kinds of Symmorium teeth.

There are some good Cladodus teeth for reference here: http://oceansofkansas.com/Paleozoic.html

I would note that Mr. Everhart is not an expert in paleozoic shark teeth (not sure if anyone is really ;))

Some ID's on that page are incorrect I think.

Thank you, I had come to a similar conclusion after re examination. I think I just had the wrong species on the mind while hunting that day.
