Hello I am in need of some help. Can anyone tell me if this is a fossil? And what kind? I am having a really hard time trying to figure this out. Any assistance with identifying this would be greatly appreciated!

This was found in a creek in Oregon if that is any help.

Oregon is a pretty big place. Can you please be somewhat more specific. Anyway, it doesn't appear to me to be a fossil but rather a rock which has been exposed over a long period of time to differential weathering.

Rock, not a fossil of any kind, unfortunately.
