New Members firio Posted 5 hours ago New Members Share Posted 5 hours ago It looks like a fin or a wing and I have never seen anything like it. The maps say that it is an area of the Cretaceous period. The measurements are 10 cm long and 9 cm wide. I leave the measurements in the photos. Aragon Region of Spain. Fossildude19
Looks like ripple marks, or some sort of sedimentary structure, rather than a fossil, to me. No fin rays, or bones present. No wing or fin structures. Geologic, in my opinion. 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." No hay radios en las aletas ni huesos. No hay estructuras en las alas ni en las aletas. Geológico, en mi opinión. That's what I thought, but the waves you're talking about can't occur that way, and besides, I found it in an area where there are fossils with identical characteristics that I was able to identify. The thing about the wings or fins was to say something, sorry if I implied that it was that. I searched the internet for photos to see if anything would come up and I found this. It is made of the same material.

Lo de las alas o aletas era para decir algo, perdón si di a entender que era eso. Busqué fotos en Internet para ver si aparecía algo y encontré esto. Está hecho del mismo material. (this is something similar to mine, I'm not saying it is)
Ludwigia
I agree with Tim. This is not a fossil, at the most ripple marks and certainly not a wing or a fin. If you don't agree with this assessment, then take it to your nearest paleontologist and ask him to identify it. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Why do you believe ripple marks can't occur that way? And what are the other fossils you have identified with "identical characteristics"? I'm also just seeing something geological.
