hair-like strands in rock

notes: no idea what this could be but it looks different from normal rocks with stripes

Looks planar, maybe microbedded dark silt, judging especially from the last photo.

of course.

 

it appears to be planar, however it's difficult to tell. it doesn't appear on the other side of the rock at all however looking at one of the holes it does appear to extend at least a little bit into the rock , but not more than ~2 cm at most. I've tried scraping it off at least 10 times because it looks so much like something like wet piece of hair or seaweed that dried on the rock and sticks to it

 

ive attached some additional photos where you can just make out that it is planar

The top photo in this set Looks a little like an external mold of a gastropod. Could it be a trace made by one twisting itself into sediment?

i suppose it's possible? im in no position to comment on that, i dont know enough about how the rocks form, nor do i know anything about trace fossils beside being capable of identifying a very limited number of trace fossils like these
