New Members TheDaisiesGrow Posted September 29 New Members Share Posted September 29 This was on a beach on Charleston Harbor after Helene. It has a bryozoan colony (fossilized?) growing in the grooves and on the smoother, slightly convex side. Is this an impression from something? Just an odd-looking phosphate nodule? Any help would be appreciated! IMG_0765.mov
Rockwood
The bryozoan is modern. The texture of the convex shape doesn't look like a fossil. The grooves could indicate a poorly preserved fossil. It's hard to say.
