Hey there! I’ve recently started fossil hunting and went to Turimetta Head a few days ago. I found a few Graptolites (I think) and Horsetails, but then I came across this. Any idea what it could be?

Carbonized plant remains, I think.

I don't think there are graptolites there, but pictures would let us know what you actually did find.

No graptolites at Turimetta, as graptolites are marine animals while the sediments at Turimetta were laid down in freshwater swamps or lakes. Your pictured piece is plant matter but it is not identifiable beyond that. Keep looking as there are also seed ferns and lycopsid cones at this site.
