Conchoidal fracture or fossil?

usually i dont struggle iding conchoidal fractures but this one has me uncertain due to the chip with what somewhat resembles shell underneath and the surface texture feeling different

Beat up and mineral encrusted would be my description of the look. I doubt that it's a fossil.

Hmm, I would have said that pictures 2 and 3 probably show the imprint of a shell (bivalve?) with bit of shell material remaining (the beige/grey stuff, not the white stuff).  The lineations being the ornamentation of the shell.

The lineation looks more like the edge of a laminated feature to me.
