Fossilized egg or not?

I found a few items in northern Az that I believe may be fossilized eggs, or not.

Any thoughts will be appreciated

I can see why you might surmise these are egg fossils; however, consider the "rind" here as being way too thick for any critter to get out of without the aid of some sort of jackhammer. I would say it is a really neat concretion.
