The topic of soft tissue fossilization is presenting itself more and more as time goes on and more of the discoveries such as the heart found mostly entirely intact inside of the chest cavity of a dinosaur a few years back in 2018 and in 2016. In Australia they just found some fish fossils inside a rock that had preserved portions of intestine, stomach and also heart. They were able to create a 3D image of the heart using technology, in which they are claiming is the worlds first 3D Fossilized heart.

Dinosaur skeletons have been found over and over again, and still go up at these auctions for tens of MILLIONS of dollars. But nobody has auctioned off a real life tangible heart.

What IF one was fully preserved and actually still looked like a heart?

What if it belonged to a human?

How MUCH do u think that thing would be worth?

Do u think it will ever happen? Even not if in this lifetime..

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The forum does not perform pecuniar value estimates, not even of hypothetical fossils. ;)

I also wonderi f the ID section is the right spot for your qestion, or  are you preparing to put up pics of a find here?

In principle its  possiblee to find 3d preserved soft tissue, like in the santana fish.

Its just very rare.

Best regards,

J
