New Members mikeyesenko13 Posted 2 hours ago New Members Share Posted 2 hours ago Hello! I Found this recently in Glendive, Montana, in the Hell Creek Formation. I was told if could possibly be a small rex tooth or a raptor. Its pretty chunky for how little it is. Thank you for any help with identification! Alex S.
Hi @mikeyesenko13welcome to the forum. Scale and direct photos are really important to aid in identification. There's a nice post tagged on the top for tips for identifying teeth. That said it seems thicker than I would expect a raptor to be.
Kohler Palaeontology
So far, I am thinking maybe a juvenile tyrannosaurid tooth (probably nano, the denticles don't remind me of rex denticles as much.) but would need size to be sure.
