Hello from Italy, I was just sitting on a gravel beach in Amalfi and found this tooth. Are my photos good enough for help with ID? (Sheep and goats are the local land mammals around here)

It does feel completely fossilized (hard and heavy) even though it is white, but I’m not positive. What is the best way to be sure?

Thanks, that makes sense. Maybe its not even a fossil?  Do I recall putting a flame to it will tell if it is fossilized or not?
