Your area is Cretaceous rocks and limestone makes up much of that section in Texas. While thee may be some fossils in it, I'm not seeing anything obvious. The pits and holes you see are due to weathering, certain parts of the rock dissolve faster than others. Im see a very cool look a like but I think it’s just a rock. But I would have picked it up too! It made me do a double take! Edit: Clearlake beat me too it! LOL!
